Winter is coming. So teach English in Italy from January to June. 106 views

Winter is knocking on the door. So its obvious. Move to a warmer climate. Just cast a vote in the UK’s December election, and your duty is done. Enjoy your Xmas, and then its time for your own, personal Brexit.

As a leading recruitment agency operating in Italy, Evocation EFL works with many different schools in all parts of Italy. These are private language schools in attractive locations, often offering career progression opportunities as well as assistance with accommodation. The positions involve teaching around 25 hours per week of General English and possibly some Business English. There will usually be a mix of learners, including adults and younger learners, plus sessions on company premises and in state schools. Its a varied and stimulating portfolio.

And now is the moment to get a job starting in January.

We fill vacancies from the north, to central Italy, all the way to the south and the islands. Contracts normally run until the end of June, and are often renewable.

Italy has wonderfully mild winters in most regions, especially in the south, with average daily temperatures around 15 C. And for snow sports enthusiasts, the Italian Alps have the perfect conditions for skiing and snowboarding. As winter gives way to spring and summer, you’ll find that Italy really has it all, and your CELTA will be the entrance ticket to Italy’s many memorable experiences.

Wherever you go in Italy, it will be a rewarding, worthwhile, and developmental experience in every way. You will never forget Italy.

Salary and benefits:

You can expect a salary of around 1250 euros net monthly. That goes further than you may think outside the major cities, Italy is not expensive, and that’s what you actually receive each month. Accommodation may be included, in which case this figure will be less. Some schools offer termination bonuses and other benefits. This depends on the school and on what you can offer. Some schools offer additional benefits. We’ll inform you about these in particular cases.

Requirements:

Your spoken English must be of native level standard
You need to hold a CELTA or Trinity TESOL or equivalent
Degree – BA or above
At least 6 months’ EFL teaching experience (we would prefer 2 years plus)
Cambridge exam preparation experience is a plus
Driving licence is a plus

When sending your CV, please make clear where you are actually based now, how we can contact you by phone or Skype, and when you can start a contract. We ask you to provide your CV direct to us (in Word format if possible) and will contact you if we assess that you are a suitable candidate.

Please note you must be already eligible to work in the EU. You should be ready for interview and to start work in January.
